This recent decking project was for a customer based in Stretford, Manchester.
The customer wanted a timber decking area complete with bespoke gates as the client has two dogs and wanted to create a divide when guests were visiting. The workspace was quite difficult for this project as there were lots of different angles to factor in due to the fence running between neighbouring gardens.
Pride home services have completed many decking projects that have tricky surfaces, angles and obstacles which should settle the minds of those unsure if anything can be done to their garden!
Timber treated decking
The job was completed over 4 1/2 days using treated timber decking. The client has two dogs, so a small bespoke gate was built on the back of the deck and were made into double opening gates, to give a better look and better access should it be needed.
The small section of balustrade at the front of the deck was made a little lower than normal which was done at the clients request. This balustrade doubled up as a lean to seating, so was set at what we like to refer to as “bum height”
